If I don’t subscribe, can I still listen to Be The Experience for free?

Yes!  My podcast will always be available, for free, wherever you get your podcasts.

 How do I sign in to my BE THE EXPERIENCE account?

Go to, and you’ll find a LOGIN button on the upper right hand corner of the page.

 What types of payment do you accept?

WE accept credit and debit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club.  Unfortunately, we do not accept PayPal payments.

 What payment processor do you use? Do you store my credit card details?

We use Stripe to process payments for memberships. Shannon Hernandez himself does not have access to your full credit card details at any time.

 How can I change the credit card associated with my account?

To change your payment method, login to the Member area on our site. On the top right, you will see an avatar circle.  Click on that and a dropdown menu will appear.  Click on "Settings" and you will be taken to a page where you will see your login info.  A link at the top, which says: “Credit Card Info.” is where you can save your new card details.

How can I change the email associated with my account?

Login to the Member area on our site. On the top right, under the avatar click “Account settings.” You can update your contact information there.


How do I renew my Behind The Experience Membership?

It’s automatic. Monthly memberships will renew every month, and annual members once a year.

How do I turn off auto-renew?

1. Go to THESHANMAN.COM webpage and log in to the Membership Area.
2. On the top right, underneath the avatar,  click  and check "Settings.”
3. Go to "Credit Card Info" at the top and choose to auto-renew or cancel.

How do I cancel my membership?

To cancel your membership, you can turn off the auto-renewal, as per the instructions above. This means you will not be charged for your next billing cycle. We do not issue returns for memberships.


Where can I find the members only stuff, like pre-release shows and other goodies?

Every time I post members-only content, I'll email you a link, so don’t worry about missing anything. You can also find member content by clicking the LOGIN button on We expect to post pre-release shows and other content every few months.

Can I listen to the pre-release pilots in my podcast app?

No. The pre-release pilots are available for download and streaming on the membership section of our website. It’s mobile friendly.

However, at the moment, they are not available as an RSS feed, so can’t be directly plugged into your podcast app.

Do members get access to ad-free versions of the podcasts?

No, my podcasts will continue to have ads, but at a minimum from the membership version.
